Customer Reviews about Whitehorse Accident Repair Centre:

I am extremely unsatisfied by the quality of work and the service (or lack of) that I was provided with.My brand new, 6 month old car had been involved in an accident and required to be replaced with new parts. Initially, they were very friendly, and assured me that my car would be in good hands, properly looked after, and that my car “would look as good as new”.Upon pick up and inspection of my vehicle, I immediately noticed a number of problems.1. I noticed that the paint job was not finished properly and instead there were multiple areas (at least 15) where they had spray painted over dirt, leaving a bumpy finish.2. The interior of my car was left untidy and had prominent white polish marks over the steering wheel, the car handle and hand break, which continued to the outside of my car.3. They had also some how managed to damage the interior of my vehicle, leaving scratch marks on the dash board.4. There was a dent on one of the new parts which was placed on my vehicle.5. They had failed to retint a new window that was replaced.Insurance policy stated that I was required to return to the same repair company to fix up the problems. From the minute I stepped foot into the company, for a second time, I was unsatisfied with the quality of customer service they provided.1. The company had lost my paperwork, seemingly forgot that I was returning my car for further repairs, and had not organised a rental car for me like they promised.2. I was greeted with a very bad attitude by the male staff member whose job was to look over the issues I regarded as less than good quality workmanship. He was extremely sarcastic in the way he spoke to me.When I finally got my car back the second time, I was again less than impressed. They failed to rectify a couple of things.1. There were still numerous areas where they had spray painted over dirt2. The polish was cleaned from the first repair job. However, they had replaced it with new polish marks in other areas of my car!!3. They marked my side mirror with a large scratch to the plastic covering!Instead of apologising to me for the poor workmanship, and for the months (yes months!!) of hassle for wasting my time, and inconveniencing me, another male staff member gave me attitude, insisting that I should be thankful for their ‘hard work’. In an attempt to lessen the attention to the poor repair job, he mentioned that there were probably other areas of my car which had faults that I was not aware of; A comment which was irrelevant to the circumstances. My response to that statement is that if that was the case, that there were imperfections to my car which are not to my knowledge, then the quality of the workmanship that this company has provided is extremely poor and less than acceptable, for me to noticed them immediately. The only positive thing I have to say about this company, is that one customer service/reception female staff member, around late 20’s to early 30’s, was lovely. The other members of staff, mostly male, were rude and sarcastic towards me. I’m not sure why I was treated in that manner, it could possibly have been because I am a young female resident. However, I believe that regardless of age, race or gender, social status etc., there is absolutely NO acceptable reason to communicate to an individual in a manner I received. As a result of the treatment I received at this repair shop, I will NOT be returning there and I am recommending to my family, friends and to yourself, that if you want your car to return, hassle free, with a good quality workmanship and finish, do NOT send your vehicles there.
